Like many people I'm a great fan of romantic comedy. I love to read it and write it. I have published Café Paradise trilogy in paperback, available from Amazon books, eBooks and can be ordered from bookshops and also my book of humorous short stories called Tales From the Yorkshire Wolds - Einstein Never Had This Problem. Currently I am working on a new romantic comedy 'Aunt Mildred's Millions', which will come out in 2020.

Café Paradise is set in a café in York and follows the lives and loves of a group of characters who work there. After Jackie finds her domineering mother lying dead, face down in a plate of porridge, she has to take responsibility for Café Paradise. The greasy-spoon in York has seen better days, but Jackie's plans to modernise are not appreciated by her wilfull staff.
Zumba dancing, feckless chickens, cross-dressing, Roman re-enactments and the worlds' most fiery curry all play their part in helping the characters at the Café Paradise resolve their misunderstandings and find true love.

In the final book of the trilogy, Jackie is expecting twins and doubling the size of the café, much to Barney's dismay. His friend Brian has come to do the renovations and has come across Genevieve. Will his life ever be the same again, especially as Monsieur Henri, the chef, is rather possessive about her. Kate and Stan have moved house to accommodate a coming baby and Stan is engaged in his own renovations, let's not even go there. George has a new four-wheeled love in his life, to Penny's utter despair and Walter has his hands full with Rose, Arthur and all their animals. This act of kindness is returned to Mildred in the form of a £50 million legacy. Cousin Patrick was a multi-millionaire.
Unfortunately for Mildred, where there is a will and a legacy there are a lot of relatives eager to part her from some of her millions by whatever means necessary. Frauds, romantic deceptions and romantic misunderstandings all follow and something strange is developing at the Gardener's Arms Pub in the village and Mildred's first ever management of the village fate is proving something of an headache.
