Launch of 'Cafe Paradise'  in June 2013 at ReadingLasses Bookshop/Cafe. It has been a busy summer, launching the Kindle version of 'Cafe Paradise' and publicising it in and around Dumfries and Galloway. I have had a wonderful time and met lovely people at the different events as I performed some of the characters from the book. Now the paperback edition of the book is soon to be released and I am busy organising more events to introduce an unsuspecting public to the world of 'Cafe Paradise'.

  I had started to write a new romantic  comedy novel, but have had to change meterphorical horses mid-stream as so many people  requested a sequel to 'Cafe Paradise'. 'You can't leave it there, we want to know what happens to them all' was the cry. So that's what I'm up to now - not only a sequel, but a trilogy - they should have meditated upon the phrase 'be careful what you pray for - you might get it - but not in just the way you think.' 

There are some new characters and new events to come. I have found myself a wonderful writing space for the winter, away from home. That way, I've a fair chance of getting a lot of work done instead of falling prey to the thousand and one tasks I could find to distract me from the work in hand.

So, bring on the autumn and winter, the gal has work to do.
